The best thermal performance is achieved when they are installed on site with one or two adjacent air chambers, watertight and with a minimum thickness of 20 mm. The insulators are bonded together with an aluminum adhesive tape to seal the layer.

The ETA (European Technical Assessment) is the European document that contains the technical assessment of the performance of a product that is not covered, partially or totally, by a harmonized technical specification. The ETA is elaborated by ITeC as OAT (Technical Assessment Body) and is approved in the context of EOTA (European Organisation for Technical Assessment).
ITeC has been an authorized body for non-standard and innovative product evolution within EOTA since 1996 and is designated as OAT under Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 since March 2013, for all Product Areas foreseen therein.
